		<description>
   Williamson and Lindsley Mt. Naeba, Japan 2006
Gavin Williamson and Eric Lindsley met in Santa Cruz back in 2003 the day Eric got out of the hospital and about 1 year after Gavin's injury. The pair quickly began scheming new ways to shred. Eric, then a testing engineer for Santa Cruz Bicycles, and Gavin, a student at UC Santa Cruz soon began to ride their handcycles around the city together. After discovering ParaPros Downhill bikes and Outlet Industries (now R-One (http://www.r-onefourcross.com/)) &amp;ndash; two down hill 4-wheel mountain bike manufacturers &amp;ndash; online, Lindsley and Williamson, whose backgrounds were in mountain biking and BMX, quickly decided that fourcross (the moniker for the sport of 4-wheel mountain biking) was much more their speed than handcycling.
