Are you a hunter? Do you have the love of the hunt burning deeply within you? If
so, imagine that you are driving home from work. Suddenly, you are involved in an
auto accident. You wake up in a hospital bed, with no feeling from the middle of
your chest down. A sad-faced doctor, with a very serious tone in his voice informs
you that you are permanently paralyzed and will be in a wheelchair for the rest
of your life. Now think about this very carefully. The accident destroyed your mobility
and your previous way of life, but did it destroy the love for the hunt that still
burns deeply within you?
Of course not! It is still there, burning just as strongly as ever! But now you
are going to need special equipment, special opportunities and special assistance
to accomplish your hunting objectives. That is where the United Foundation For Disabled
Archers comes to the rescue.
If you are a physically challenged hunter looking for unique bowhunting adventures,
the United Foundation For Disabled Archers (UFFDA) has the opportunity you have
been searching for. Each year, seasoned bowhunting volunteers sponsor free bowhunts
for UFFDA’s disabled members and we would consider it a privilege to entertain you
on one of these hunts each year. If you are interested in learning more about what
we have to offer, take some time to navigate around this website and discover why
everyone is so excited about the United Foundation For Disabled Archers and what
it has to offer you and your family.
