How to upload pictures to MyHandyNet |

The very first thing is to check the file size of your picture.
- On Windows "right-click" on your picture, then select "Properties" and read the "Size" in (KB). The maximum file size to upload for a Profile Picture is 100kb or 100K. 300k is max size for additional "User Profile Gallery" pictures.
- For Apple and Mac "Control-Click" on the picture and select "Get Info". Read the "Size" in (KB)
Next check maximum file size the website will upload.
- Most editing features on MyHandyNet will state the maximum file size. If the max file size to upload is exceeded expect an error reminding you of the max file size.
Reduce the size of your photo if it is too large.
- Most digital photo editing software has an option to reduce the size of your photos. Some software will allow reducing the size by the number of Pixels, Hight by Width and by Percentage of the original size. If you have a 200k photo it would be easy to just reduce the size by about 48% so you end with a photo file size under 100K.
To upload your default Profile Image or Picture:
- Login to MyHandyNet or click on the "My Page" Icon
- Click on "Edit" then "Update Your Image"
- You can select from any images in the "Image Gallery" and click on "Confirm Choice" at the bottom of the page, OR
- Click on "Browse" to open a window on your computer, then find find your picture and upload it to the website.
- Click on "Upload" and you will see your new picture after the upload is complete and the page refreshes.
To upload additional pictures to your Profile Picture Gallery:
- Login to MyHandyNet or click on the "My Page" Icon
- Click on "Submit New Gallery Entry" and an "Editing Window" will open.
- Enter a "Title" and "Description" for the file you about to upload.
- Click on "Browse", search for the photo on your computer
- Click on "Submit Gallery Entry" to upload the file
