Graham-Field's heritage dates back to 1946, when Samuel Graham Golub and Philip Field began hashing out an idea for a new company in a loft on Pearl Street in Manhattan, New York. Based on one simple philosophy - if you can't find it anywhere else, come to Graham-Field - the two men created a new supplier of medical equipment, Graham-Field, Inc.
In 1947, Graham-Field introduced its first product line, Medicopaste®, a bandage product. From this point and through the medical equipment heyday of the 1970's Graham-Field grew as a manufacturer of a variety of medical products.
During the 1980s, Graham-Field branched out into other areas with the acquisitions of leading companies in several healthcare related fields. Gradually, the company evolved from a last-stop shop to a one-stop shop for medical equipment. This evolution saw Graham-Field reach into other categories, ultimately providing everything from specialty beds and pressure control products, to bathroom safety products, high performance wheelchairs and specialty rehab seating systems to respiratory products and a variety of emergency and diagnostics equipment.
Today headquartered in Atlanta, GA, Graham-Field is one of the world's leading manufacturers and distributors of medical products in the health care industry, offering approximately 4,000 medical, rehabilitation, long-term care and homecare products.
